tranny probs???

hey ny tranny is making clunking noise and i dont know why i fixed the throwout bearing and its stilling doing it. when i drive it in 1st gear and i drive with high rpms its loosing its torque any ideas??

I would definitely do a fluid change to start and use a good syncromesh or royal purple, ect... Then i would check and see if you are still having probs with the noise and loss of torque. I too had the same problem a while back and it ended up that my 1st and 5th gears were complete shot along with the shaft. So $450 and new tranny rebuild later and im back to kikin @ss on the roads. I hope this helps.

I agree that you need to check and change the fluid and if your loosing power you may need to replace your clutch.

Is it making any noise now if you've changed the fluid yet?
