please help clutch problems

ok i was driving along n all of the sudden my gears were going in hard then couldnt take them out clutch got really stiff the only way i took it home was pumping the clutch while car was off then just barly made it home ok i took out tranny well my clutch was normal wear n tear preasure plate was ok just minor wear changed clutch but not preasure plate and i also changed fork and bearing and i changed the master and slave cylinder nand bled the system lots of times and still grinds going in gear what can you recomend ive worked on my cars for three days n still cant drive my girl

I like this method for bleeding the clutch, can you shift gears with the car off?

Yea i can they go in like if clutch n gears are fine

Grab the slave rod and try and force it back into the slave. If you can there is still air in the system. If you have help have someone push the clutch while yoi watch the slave and see if its moving at all.

Slave does move jus dont know how far its suppose to be out it moves the fork pretty well ive been bleading this thing like a farmer milks a cow n still got no clutch

What type of pp are you using? And 1gs have no pedal adjustment right?

Also try simply gravity bleeding it. That might help.

U can adjust it but it seems to be short on length preasure plate is stock maybe gravity can help the car is on an incline position

I had a similar problem my car....also a 90 check the linkage cable end bushings my was whoopped and the plastic bushing on the linkage ARM as well I believed its some sort of guide my was broke and it would let me go into gear

Sounds like same symptoms I had... and the rollerbearing mod is free if u used to be a woodpusher like me

It could...it worked for me. First couple days car shifted great nice and smooth after setting since 04(2nd owner with 95000) and next it got hard to get into gear then it got where I couldn't do anything. Notice the plastic so called bushing on linkage ARM in two piece..one piece was left other half gone.. replace that as well as the cable link bushings shifted back to normal..

I was looking for the linkage but couldn't see where its at i dont mean to sound like a noob but where is it exactly

It's gonna be right under the air filter housing. Take that off and you'll see the linkage on the Tranny

Well i finally figured it out slave n master witch was a very bad dsm week knowing i took out tranny but oh well ill do it again next week thanks for everyones help
