Fairfax ~ GMU baby,
This is the result of an employee misusing a company car… This guy asked his employer if he could take out a wholesale car for a test drive. Once he got the dealer plates he went to the saleable car lot and got in this Z06 Corvette instead. He then drives it off the dealer’s property and goes to pick up his girlfriend where they made their way down the road. Going around 60 mph he looses control of the car and hits the median snapping off the left hub and totally destroys the right side.

as soon as he got back to the store in the tow truck...LOL...i still cant believe he did that

Dont know yet but Ill keep you all updated. It all depends on how sympathetic the store is cause it really could go either way.

When i was doing petty work at my dealership, my supervisor asked me to patch a tire, i sighed. He gives me the Repair order, and i get the car and its a beautiflul '02 Corvette Z06. HOT!! So i patch the tire, and a tech walks by and says "hey, you know you can't patch a Z rated tire" i was like, o now you tell me. So i ordered a tire for the 405hp monster. I came in on Monday the tire was waiting for me. So i put on the massive tire, easier than i thought it'd be, so than i LEGALLY took it for a test drive. Ofcorse i drove it a little more than i really had too, but even with the Traction Control on that car could get 90degrees sideways. I was actualy brave enough to turn it off....and then it went back on in about 4seconds. Just striaght burned rubber. So after i had my fun, i had to park her. My honest impression was that car was unnessesarely fast, but i loved it! :thumb:

They're not going to just repair it and sell it as new are they? That's wrong.

O god no. They're going to make it 'driveable' and kick it to wholesale which means only licensed dealers can buy it and all the damage and all of the cars history is disclosed before they buy it.

it'll buff out.

I was thinking more on the lines of just having them duct tape the whole thing so it just look like a different shade of silver...oooo... ahhhhh...
