Thought I would share the process with you guys. I think I spent a total of about 70 hours on just tearing the spyder apart and back together. Been going steady roughly 8 hours a day in the last 9 days. Doner car was a 96 GSX California car. Ive spent the last day and a half on just the exhaust. I cut up my 6 month old Megan dp and made myself a custom 3'' exhaust. Still kind of having trouble with the fuel pump wiring, I posted something in the "Advanced AWD swap" thread but still no comments back.. Well heres some pics! Enjoy.

dam that thing looks alot like mine!!!!LOL good to see another panda awd spyder man let me know how she feels=) GOOD LUCK

I'm kinda new to all this but that's great work bro.. And I thought the 420a timing belt was hard to do LOL... Again awesome job

Welcome to the AWD swap club. Now just convert the body to a 2gb Talon and you'll have an AWD Talon Spyder... OMG

I hope your fixed that rear main seal before you put a flywheel on it...
+1. You don't want oil leaking there.

Thanks guys and gal! It really wasnt all that bad. I was shocked how easy everything all went in. While the rear subframe was out I installed one of MAPerformance's master poly bushing kits as well. Really, I think the hardest part for me was cutting the holes in the trunk to get the FWD subframe bolts out for the AWD to go in. Hopefully some of you can make it to MOD on the 24th in Normal, Ill be there!!

If i had a Spyder with an AWD swap i would put that AWD badge that normally goes on the 2g talons rear bumper, right beside the Spyder emblem. that way it would say AWD Spyder. that would give it a nice lil finishing touch.

Sexy build, this really makes me want to get a spyder and swap that awd, one day, one day, good stuff man

Looks awesome man! I'll be doing my AWD swap once winter comes. I really am starting to get anxious! I've got everything but front axles, and I have to get my donor trans to Tim Zimmer one of these days so he can work his magic :)

Congrats dude!

Quick question: What are you planning on doing with your old rear subframe? Scrapping it or are you going to try to sell it? I will probably end up scrapping mine, but I feel bad destroying a perfectly good rear frame.
