1g back seat delete/sub enclosure/storage box

well, I've had some free time lately, and I like doing stuff to my car, I've reached the point of performance that I'll be happy with till I finish with college, so I figured it was time to start on the interior.

I was looking at my backseats and, like everyone else, realized how worthless they are. the only thing I would EVER put back there is a recaro baby seat, and I don't have a baby. soooooo. I pulled them out.

I took the inspiration for this whole thing from pretty much everywhere, an f-body friend of mine told me that theres a guy who makes a rear seat delete kit that replaces the back seat with enclosed storage compartments on those cars. (who doesn't need an enclosed storage space, right?)then I designed a small enclosure for a 10" sub in the center of the whole thing and got started.

and this is how it sits right now, I'm waiting for the last round of foam to dry so I can trim it and start carpeting

I always thought I'd have to do that exact thing if I ever got an AWD. Then you could keep a full-size spare, too. Right now I'm considering building an MDF floorboard for my FWD, to use as a baffle, so my spare tire well would be the sub enclosure. It would be hinged at the front.

Spray foam is my friend, too!
