Ok i know this doesnt have anything to DSM's but i need help. so someone is selling me an 89 prelude auto for 200 dollars. only thing wrong with it is the tranny. its a 2.0 prelude SI. now I got a 89 honda accord here at my house we dont drive due to bad motor but the auto tranny is good. its a regular accord with a 2.0 12 valve engine. will the tranny in the 89 accord fit good in the 89 prelude SI?

I'm assuming the prelude has a B20 in it and the accord an F22? Are you sure the accord has a 2.0 in it?

Will not fit the prelude is a B20 and as you stated the accord is a A20. Im not saying it will not ever work because i am sure a adapter plate and some custom fab could make it happen., but it is a 89 honda. Just hit the salvage yard and buy a used transmission. Im sure they are cheap as dirt.

It will not work- b series w/b series, h series w/h series, d w/d and so on.
