So my friend picked up a blown up car to swap the motor out of his wrecked GSX into.
Well we didn't know what was wrong. Other than it was blown up. Or something

We start at the top.
Pull the t-belt cover off and see that alot of the teeth on the belt have been shredded off.

Pulled the head and see that a piston kissed some valves.

Next comes dropping the engine. First thing we notice is a dent in the oil pan. Must've thrown a rod too.

Then once the engine is out, we notice a big hole in the back of the block.

So let's hear some ideas on what the hell was the demise of this engine?
 
That's what happens when you try and see how high the tired motor can rev without a rev limiter...
