I have just been doing some reading on the net. And I was wondering which would be better a DSMlink or the safc and logger combo. Remember I'm just wondering

Obviously you haven't been doing enough reading

DSMLink (now ECMLink) is far superior then an SAFC/logger combo in all ways. It can add up to more initial coat & may be overkill for your goals but it will allow a much better tune & a tonn of "extra" features you don't have with an SAFC.

In the end, it comes down to how much money you want to spend, what your goals are, what parts you're using, and how much you want to learn. My vote (as well as many others) is DSMlink.

Especially since DSMLink just upgraded to V3... theres no doubt about it...

I have yet to mess with mine but from what iv'e been reading, its guaranteed not to let me down

Like stated above, dsmlink, but depending on your goals you might not need it. If you've got deep pockets it'd be awesome to have, but if not and you're not wanting huge hp, a logger and safc will be fine.

Until 'link gets speed density, that's all I will ever consider running. You can also do pretty much anything you can in link with an ostrich and tunerpro for ~$180
