V8 Ford Focus.

I'm sure most people on this site are used to beating V8's. I think this Focus would give anyone a run for their money.

Doing this on the street is simply ignorant, please go to the track if you wanna test your car!!!

I love the idea. In fact, I once put a 318 in a 91 RX7. Which is very easy also done by many others. But a focus is stupid. It looks like an out dated space ship.

they are mostly 5.0, and the reason its a focus is because thats a sickining sleeper, except for the rumble of a v8 it gives off. And its definitly rear drive

There is a company that specializes in making 5.0 V8 fuel injected Ford focus's. I dont remember who but I saw it in a ford mustang magazine(im a foxbody fan sorry). They use the tranny drivetrain, rear end, brakes, ecu, harness everything from a fox body mustang to do the swap. I think you can buy one for about 50k. There is a guy here in my town I met with one that smoked the hell out of me. Seeing a focus do a rwd burnout was amazing and yes they are all rwd. It also sported a 5.0 tag. Sickest car ever but the weight distribution has to be all messed up.

Kugel Komponents sells the conversion kits. There's was one in the 8's a few years ago. There was a twin turbo with a 351 cobra engine but I couldn't find a link for that one. There were rwd focus v8's the first year the focus was introduced.
