Hey, I'm not sure whos car it is, but the same scam was on San Francisco's Craigslist a while back. I emailed him and got the same response you did. It's offensive how dumb thinks people are.
I have a strange feeling i have read this same scam on this site before and it had the pic of the same car. I feel bad for the guy who owns this scam car. One of thies days a angry person is gonna find it.
I dont know who's car that is now, but those pictures where taken from the same house/driveway where I picked my new GSX from. Guys name was Kurt, in NY. But I didnt pay 3,300$ for my GSX, but those pics are off the ebay auction that he had. He sold the car. Where its at now, I dont know.
haha yea i emailed that guy too a few days ago, i have an idea to find out who they are, use Profile Snoop to find their IP address and look at their myspace, i was thinking e-mailing them saying "hey send me a message over myspace with your responce i check it more than email" as soon as they view your profile, Profilesnoop.com will give up their IP adress and any myspace tied with that IP adress
I already did.. linking both pages, and the email that he sent me, which is the "i am in sweden.. blah, blah"
theres also a button up top to click to "flag the post" you put it as whatever you want and enough clicks will take it off the site.
i acutally had some asshole pull the same thing on my stepdad with a car he was selling on ebay - he jacked the ebay ad completely and threw it on CL for a way lower asking price.
needless to say, the idiot gave me his address and i went to go meet him to "buy" the car
i've reported the post too. He says the car is in sweden, so i told him i have some friends in sweden that would like to look at the car for me we'll see what he says
