Just bought some Skunk2 Coilovers. What is my next step in lowering my car? Someone said to get a camber kit or else it'll kill my tires. Where did you guys get your kits from? I want to spend around 150-200 total on both Front and Rear Camber Kits.

Also, I don't have enough cash to get rims right now. What's the lowest ya think I can lower the car on stock wheels? I don't want it almost scraping the ground but low enough to look good ... Get rid of some of that ugly wheelgap.
 
usually anything below around a 2" drop is going to require a camber kit. if you are only going 1" then there will be no need for it, just get an alignment and tell them what specs you want it set at. usually a 1.5" to 2" drop is sufficient for clearing up fender gap.
 
Ah, I was under the impression that any drop required a camber kit. How would a 1 3/4" drop look on a 97 Gs-T on stock rims? Would it get rid of alot of the wheel gap? Can you guys put a pic of your car and how much you've lowered it?
 
actually any change in ride height will require some camber/caster/toe changes. If you want optimal tire wear and complete adjustability on alignment settings then get a camber kit for the front and rear. As for the diy rear camber kit, i think thats fine to a certain point, but if you plan to lower the car more than 1.5 inches I say get a dedicated rear camber kit
