Snap Ring on Koni's

Has anyone had problems with the snap ring breaking on Koni's with GC coilovers? This is the 2nd one that I have had break and its starting to piss me off. I'm not using the perch that came with the koni's as per the vfaq instructions. Anyone using it or have any idea's on what the deal is?

If you mean the ring on the shock that the lower perch sits on, then, no, I've never heard of these breaking and they've put up with some serious abuse on my car. Are you sure that you have the correct GC kit? Konis are slightly different and you need to ask for a kit for Konis when you order. And given the guys at GC, you have to say this three or four times and then email them and then call them again.

I'm pretty sure they are right. The fit perfectly around the shock and fit into place nicely. Oh well. I am seriously just thinking about ditching the coilovers and going with an eibach sport kit.
