Help Me My Car Is Shaking Bad

HEY GUYS I MY CAR IS SHAKING SO BAD THAT THEY SHOULD PUT IT IN ONE OF THOSE CHOCOLATE MILK COMMERCIALS. A SEMI BLEW A TIRE IN FRONT OF ME AND I SWERVED TO MISS IT BUT I STILL ENDED UP HITTING IT. AND NOW MY CAR SHAKES LIKE CRAZY. IVE HAD THE TIRES BALANCE AND ALIGNED AND I HAD MY RIMS CHECKED TO SEE IF THEY WERE BENT. I CRAWLED UNDERNEATH THE CAR AND CHECKED OUT THE A ARMS. AND FROM WHAT I CAN SEE IT LOOKS ALL GOOD. IT ONLY SHAKES WHEN IM PRESSING ON THE GAS SO I FIGURED IT MIGHT BE A BUSTED MOTOR MOUNT. BUT ALL MY MOTOR MOUNTS ARE FINE. I JUST WONDER IF ITS LIKE A HALF SHAFT OR A CV JOINT OR SOMETHING. PLEASE HELP ALL INFO WOULD HELP.

could be the cv joints, or wheel bearings.

Who did the alignment, didn't they check out the whole suspension system? I'd say you've probably tweaked whatever you walloped that tire with.

Did you check to see if any axles were cracked? You may want to check all of your boots too, just to see if they have any tears or whatnot.

well i just replaced both halfshafts today the one on the passenger side didnt look to hot. and i also replaced the mushy motor mounts with polyurethane mounts. but i havent had the chance to test drive it cause i was to cold to go back out and start it out. indiana sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man i tell you this car sometimes is really aggervating. Ive got so much money in to it and it just wont do what i want it to do. but on the otherhand i love spaking a v8 with it. I took it out for a drive and it shook just a little but i figured i would get more vibration because of the motor mounts arent mushy anymore. i should of replaced them when i rebuilt the motor. But i put my tein suspension on and replaced all the ball joints and tie rods and took it in for alignment and balancing and it rides like a cadillac. i figured the could use being replaced. thanks for your input because it really had me stumped. i check the axles and it didnt seem to be worn i had to take it out to tell. the cv joint fell over to the side when i took the passenger side off the only thing holding it up was the boot. i dont know much about the drivetrain but i dont think it was suppose to do that.

Yea the cv axles arent supposed to do that , its good to hear you got it fixed.
