i want to upgrade the suspension in my 92 talon and i don't want to lower it a lot, an inch the most , but i want it to be stiffer

what springs and shocks would you recomend i'm working with $650-700

and also i was wondering, since it's an old car if there are any suspension parts that should be replaced...

they got some KONI Sport Dampers are they better than KYB??

If you only want to drop 1" or so (and maintain close to stock suspension travel and rate), the Eibach Pro kits are a pretty good spring. I've got them on my '92 TSI AWD.
As for shocks - I'd suggest spending the extra $ on KYB AGX's instead of the GR-2s if you want better than stock damping. The GR-2s don't tighten up the ride very much.

Since you're AWD, I'd suggest KYB AGX's for the adjustability you'd want when you hit the track. 2 of my friends have them, and they are awesome struts. I would also HIGHLY reccommend the Eibach Pro-Kit springs, because they are not that expensive and are a great spring. Very stiff, and don't compromise quality for a lower ride height. I personally wouldn't opt for a coilover unless you are seeking a full drag/ auto-x setup. The AGX's offer gret adjustability as far as ride quality goes, and help for awesome grip.

I've got the AGX's and I hate them, if I had it to do over again I would have saved up longer and gotten the Koni's. I've got H&R springs and the AGX's don't have enough rebound to control them. I've had Koni's on two other cars and loved them. And I do believe you have to remove the rears to adjust them.
