ocean springs, Mississippi
I have a 1g awd with stock 17" off a 2002 eclipse and 215/50/17 tires. I just ordered some eibach prokit springs for it. Do i need a camber kit and if so which kit will i need.

Thanks.

I didn't need a front camber kit when I put a set of Pro kits on my '92 AWD, but I did need a rear camber kit. I got it from Whiteline in Australia for about $50. It's a Gallant VR4 rear camber kit. Works like a charm!
You have to burn out the old control arm bushings to install the Whiteline adjustable bushing & sleeve. It's pretty easy, though.

Get the kit from TSS. Not only do they get rid of camber, but they also stiffen up the upper control arms for better launches and control during spirited driving.

It's more work, but definitely worthit IMO.

Do i need a front camber kit with this?

You're a FWD guy, so you don't have a need for the TSS camber kit - these are for AWDs.

In that case, get the TSS camber kit for the rears.

I have the eibach prokit for my ride and didn't need the a CK for the front however, if you do need one, get the RRE front camber kit.

i talked to a local performance shop and they said that if i am only dropping it an inch i shouldnt need a camber for the front or rear. Is that true or should i just get a rear one anyways.

Just install the spring kit, then take it to the shop to get it aligned. If they can't bring it into spec, buy a camber kit. If it's only out by a degree or so, I wouldn't worry about it.

SEARS has a 6 month policy for wheel alignment. Just do what King Salami said and if it they can't bring it to within spec, install a front camber kit and have them redo the alignment without extra costs.
