Is it possible to convert the front suspension to McPherson or Double Wishbone? Anyone have any info on this?

I want to lower the car more. Right now with the lame multi-link design the upper arm runs into the strut tower.

Maybe you could look into air cylinders if you want to lay frame. I think EAI makes differant stuff to do that.

What are air cylinders? Who is EAI, do you have a link?

Dude I'm looking for a race car suspension, not el ghetto dub city 5,000 pound chrome blinger. And the question was for control arms not raising and lowering the height like snoop dog humping the ground.

Take off your tire some time and take a good hard look at the suspension mounting points.

Unless you plan on running a tubular front end, there is no way you're ever going to graft on a double wishbone setup/MacPherson Strut setup without spending BLING BLING BLING, as even if you did tube the front end, you're going to have to custom engineer and build these parts to get it to work with an all-wheel drive setup like on the 2G's, unless you've managed to aquire an EVO1-3 setup, which really isn't that much better than a DSM suspension system, as far as geometries go.

Considering Archer seemed to be pretty successful with their 2G Talons in the SCCA World Challenge races before switching over to Vipers, perhaps you should contact them and ask them for advice.

If you want double wishbone, get an RX-7. If you want a Macpherson strut setup, go buy an EVO.

The MacPherson (or McPherson) strut suspension was invented in the 1940s by Earl S. MacPherson of Ford. He came up with the misbegotten pieces of crap in an era when beam front axles were still common, and in comparison it's a good setup. Compared to a real suspension, they suck. Unless, like FWD, you're selling it- then it's the ant's pants and the cat's meow, because it's cheaper than doing it right (although, yes, it does take up less room than a real suspension, and usually offers longer suspension travel). When used in the rear (Toyota 2000, Datsun Z, and far too many besides), it's usually a Chapman strut, because that bent-crank Colin at Lotus fiddled some bits enough to slap his pompous name on it.
