Funny Wear on inside of tires????

I havent got it aligned yet but wondering what else if anything could be causing this, maybe someone has seen it before. First I have stock 17 2G GSX wheels on my 97. It has 215/40 zr17s and on all 4 tires looks like the inside edge of the tread is rubbing on something, like they were put on a lathe and about 1/2 inch of the tread is worn clear through the belts. Like its rubbing but cant see anthing. Anyone ever seen this?

Is the car lowered? SOunds like wear possibly caused by excessive negative camber.

I had real bad inside tire wear on my car after i lowered it. The negative camber (tires--> //----\\) will wear out the inside real quick. I lowered my car and put on the rear camber mod which helped some, then i put on an ingalls camber kit in the front which helped the camber. But the caster and toe where still off.

I know a shop in rocky mount that does computerized 4 wheel alignments for $50.

if ur ca is lowered the camber is off, one of my friends wore out the inside tred 5 tires to the point where they burst in 1 month in his integra because it was lowered and didnt have a camber kit
if its not lowered then ur toe is off by a whole lot, and u need an alignment, that could wear out the tires but nowhere near as fast as too much negative camber will

Thanks guys not lowered, but have an appointment monday to get aligned so will see.
