Sways w/ catback

first off i would like to know wut the thickest sway bars are, and if they r the best (stiffest)......second i would like know if they will fit with my greddy evo catback.......and if not, then which would fit........thanx

I got your bump right here. I wanna know the same thing if the Suspension Technique sways will fit with a 3" exhaust or if it would rub or whatever.

people are saying that the RMDSM or wutever is the best, now i wanna know if it will fit with my 3inch greddy evo catback

chances are it wolnt fit with a 3" unless the exhaust custom made to leave room for the bar
my friends 2g had a nice think looking sway bar and a 2.5" exhaust on it when he bought it, he stepped up to a 3" and when extreme motorsports put it on they handed him the sway bar and said there was no possible way to fit it with the 3", if u look under the car u would have to completly crush the 3" pipe to fit it on, if anyone finds a sway bar made to bend around a 3" ehaust post a link to where u can buy it at

I have the rear ST bar with the HKS HiPer 3" catback and they just barely fit.

My Apexi N1 system fit fine with a RM rear swaybar.

Stiffest isn't necessarily best for a sway bar. Too stiff and you can induce oversteer. Too stiff can also reduce suspension travel.

I emailed RM once about fitment with an aftermarket exhaust. They said if it fits with the stock sway bars, it will fit with theirs. Here is their exact reply:

If the RNR exhaust fits with e OEM rear bar, It will fit with the RMDSM
bar.
The RMDSM bar has the same bends, but is larger in diameter.

RM is probably pretty good since I haven't heard any complaints...but yeh too stiff and you will lift the rear outside tire off the ground
