Just tried to order a set of rims that have an offset of 35mm (highest available) w/ a 5-114.3 lug pattern from an tires.com. Their customer service responds saying the wheels I ordered ar not correct for my vehicle as I will need a 45c offset.

Is this customer rep off his rocker or should I take his advice and not order???
