Alright Im going to be doing suspension soon and I was thinking of just doing springs and shocks but they are building a big road course out here so I will be racing, ALOT. Now I was thinking coilovers just because of the adjustability but how far should I go? Would I be ok with some ground controls and koni yellows or should I spend the extra $$ and go with Tein or some other high end brand? I would like to keep it as low cost as possible but I want good quality. Let me know what other brands to consider and personal experience is always welcome. Thanks in advance:thumb:

I woudld spend the extra money for teins..Ground controls are good and so are konis..but think of it this way..you spend 350 for ground controls and another 300-400 for konis...you can get some teins full coilover set..the teins basic for around 750 or the tein SS for around 1000...

no and no...teins are "true coilovers" in that it is a sping/shock combo which adjustable dials on there for both dampening and height control. i think some of the teins come with camber plates but they all still need camber correction.

LOL...true coilovers.

I'm a fan of ground control because you can choose your spring rate out of the box...

Im thinking of going witht the Teins. They also have the in-car controls, thats bad ass. Ok so if I get these where can I get a good camber kit? I dont know how low Im gonna go but Ill probably need front and rear.

Thanks for the link but my local speed show will destroy that price, under a grand:D

the only true coilovers by Tein found under $1000 will be the SS's or the Basic's (basics DO NOT have dampening adjustability) so you must be thinking of those two. Also, the Flex's are the only ones compatible with the EDFC (the in car controller) the last time i checked and those can be found at something like $1250. 9 second racing has the lowest price I've ever seen of the SS's at $900 but the flex's can be found lower than $1300.
