Ok well i'm heading to a friends house last night going down Interstate 90 towards chicago. Anyways i was messing around with a camaro and we got up over 120 for awhile but anyways I needed to brake really
quick b/c traffic was coming up. It didn't slam on the brakes but i
had to put alot of pressure on the pedal b/c i was going so fast.
Well when i did this my front end was vibrating pretty badly and it
was extremely hard to stop. It kinda scared me for a second. So i
thought i warped my rotors agian, but i just replaced them in November
and they are still fine. The rotor vibration was much different than
this new vibration. And it ony does it when i really put some
pressure on the the brakes compared to just hard braking like the
rotors would do. Now this is the first time i've driven my car on
the highway at high speeds since i have gotten my suspension on.
(H&R sports springs and KYB Gr2 shocks) But of course my broke ass
hasn't gotten an alignment yet b/c i'm in need a front camber kit
which i will be buying soon off of someone. I have the $15 rear kit
on, but my front is off but not by alot and i haven't noticed any
uneven wear in my tires yet. But i'm guessing my toe would have to
be off naturally since i dropped the car. Would not having an
alignment screw everything up like this and cause a vibration while
braking quickly? Otherwise my suspension feels great and i love the
way it corners. Any help would be appreciated b/c i want to get this
thing in good working condition before i have to drive 250 miles to
school.
