Anybody have them or have seen them.

I want to know what they look like.

They don't exist - and thank God, because Moriss turned out to be a rip-off shop.

Call RRE instead.

What happened at Moriss? Last I heard you were recommending these guys for the mounts...

Luckily, I already went through RRE and got JICs :)

The specifics aren't important, but if you're really curious - Google is your friend.

Suffice it to say that I no longer recommend them, and in fact strongly advise avoiding them altogether.

I did not know that.

So JIC's are the way to go now.

I have no official opinion on the JICs, although I have to confess that I'm mostly distrustful of them.

Real shocks are made by Koni, Bilstein, Penske, Ohlins, and Sachs. All else are toys.

See http://farnorthracing.com/shocks_2.html for more info.

My recommendation for street shocks are the Koni Yellows. Ground Control's coilover kit for them is fine (although I prefer Hypercoils to Eibachs)

Just don't get the GC upper spring perch plate deal. That thing is garbage. Instead, get an upper spring perch and a spherical-bearing upper mount plate from RRE - they sell them, although they're not advertised.

There is, currently NO place for one-stop-shopping for decent 2G DSM shocks. ShockTek used to, but they went under (and the ShockTek upper mounts are still by far the best parts, if you can find them) I got involved with Moriss in an attempt to work with somebody to provide that one-stop-shopping, but, well, that turned out to be a Very Bad Idea.

I have drawings for parts that will adapt off-the-shelf Bilstein NASCAR shocks to a 2G DSM, and I've even got a good kick at the valving for them... but I'm not sure I can make a living selling DSM shocks. DSMers are... a thrifty bunch.

Tein FLEX for a performance system isn't that great. Tein themselves makes much better suspension components than the FLEX system. If Tein made their RS system or their HT systems, it would be much better off. Both of those are compression and rebound adjustable, as well as having piggyback reservoirs (I think), and have been on champion Gymkhana cars over in Japan, which is basically Japanese Autocross.

Here's what they mistranslate about the the HT system: http://www.tein.com/htdamp.html

I just wish someone with the knowledge that DG had the disposal for the JIC or maybe the Tein systems. *shrug* I don't think that the Tein FLEX would be any better or any worse than a Koni/GC setup.

And it's not that DSMer's are too cheap, it's the issue of the fact that the vast majority of turbo DSM owners have the following thoughts: "How mad tyte will it make my ride look?" or "How much faster will it make me go in the 1/4 mile?"
