I have an AWD 2g and I was wondering how far should I lower it.
I have stock wheels right now, but I may go up to 17's. I dont mind if the ride is a little bumpier, but I dont want it to be really annoying. Here are some lowering choices:

1.2"F 1.2"R

1.6"F 1.6"R

1.7"F 1.4"R

2.0"F 1.75"R

any thoughts?

I did 2" in the front and 1.75" in the back. I have 17's. I had to put the stock springs back on the rear because the passenger side fender kept hitting my tire. I just need to roll my fenders and put the springs back on. I think it looks good. Almost no fender gap. As for ride quality, no bouncier than stock, and with it lowered on Tokico performance shocks it handles 5 times better.

I would do one of the top. 2g turbos generally are lower anyway. I would suggest going through the gallery and seeing a car with a stance you like and maybe PMing that person and see what kind of drop they have.

I went with 2" drop. it looks dang good with 18"s. my only problem is certain big bumps cause the front tire to hit the fender (but i also have 235 width tires)

the ride is bumpier but not bouncier. assuming you get shocks to. i have sprtin springs and tokico adj. shocks set at 3 in the front and 4 in the rear. my ride is fine. a littl ebumpy but only when the road sucks.

yea but the thing is that i have 225/35/19 ( 19 inch rims )and i already ordered 2" drop springs. what do you guys think?

i just went 60mm F and 50mm R with Koni and 17s,the ride isnt bouncy at all...

you can lower it as much as you think looks good and is still functional. hey, some people just feel the need to drive 30mph over speed bumps and their suspension is set up so they can do so. but how low you want it is really a matter of taste. like the one guy said. look through the gallery and find one blah blah blah... but be careful because cars look different from different angles. also, if you want adjustable height: get coilovers. that way you can slam it in the summer when the roads are clear and what not and raise it in the winter and for long rides so you dont plow snow and crack a bumper on the highway. hope that helps. :)

I got Tokico Illuminias with Ground control coilovers. I have the shocks set at 5 all round and the coilovers are about 2 1/2 in the front and about 2 3/4 in the rear. Its pretty bumpy cause I live out in the country and most of the roads are pretty shitty, but once I get on good roads, its really nice. I also have 17 inchers with 225 tires and haven't had any problems scraping or the tire hitting the fender well and I have gone over some good bumps too. I will get some pics up soon cause I just did this about a week ago:thumb: .
