I was just looking through these magazines and saw these new wheels. Pretty light and not all that bad looking. I was just wondering what everyone thinks of them.

Here is one pic. I dont know how to attach more than one pic if I can so sorry for the extra posts.

Yeah they're the lightest. But they also may be the ugliest.

Get 'em if all you care about is weight.

there are some in the newest summit sport compact catalog that weigh 6 pounds! They one come in 13-15 though. They would be great for running slicks. I personally kind of like the way they look, at least they are something different.

those are some of the ugliest wheels i've ever seen...

i like that look.. always have, always will.. im more function than look, id get em if they werent so much!!! im sure they are strong..

Ugly??? Who f**king cares, unless you are a ricer, in which case you should get 18" chrome Giovanna's (and maybe a "bodykit" LOL).
Or better yet, just go get a Honda and be with your kind.
Weld rules, just ask a racer.......

hey now! i agree with ya, but dont be puttin down honda's! the ricer boys in your town shouldnt represent real honda tuners! hell i see plenty of eclipse cars riced out as well... theres bad people(or ricers, LOL) in every group, even domestics, which is REALLY bad..

Weld makes some great rims.....if all you care about is racing.

I like my car to look good and be fast. You can have the best of both worlds. And lets not make this a Honda bashing thread. Not all Honda owners are "ricers".:|

...it doesn't matter if you win by a...:D

they are ugly but i'd run it if they are strong. Do they make it in black?

Hehe, maybe I shouldn't bust the Honda boys. I know they aren't all ricers (only most, but there are exceptions.....Papdakis, Bautista, etc).
And yes, 95% of DSM's are riced to no end, but the 5% that aren't make up for those:)
Yes, you can have the "best of both worlds" (good looking and fast) depending on what your idea of "fast" is (and good looking for that matter). Check out Buschur's tube car, fast AND pretty!!

If they made smaller than 17" I would check into those. That would be cool to get skinnies in the back and 7.5" or bigger in the front. It would almost match my roomates mustang.. :) (except his wide tires are in the back of course)

Ugly: maybe
Light: yes
The real question is...
how much do the weld rims cost?

They make them in 13"-15" also and they only weigh 6 lbs. You can get them at summit racing if you really want to match your roomates mustang:D
