newbie to suspension..need some help.

whatsup gang.

alright guys i've had my 96 eclipse for about 7-8 months now and i figure its time i get into the suspension part of things. i bought the car lowered. if my eyes serve me correctly, im sitting on a 2" drop. i then put on 18s with a tire size of 225/40. i love the drop and the look but i want my car to handle a bit stiffer in the corners. i've got a front strut and will be getting a lower rear soon as well. i've got a question or two though. something in both the front and rear squeaks a lot and its way past the point of bothering me. obviously, im wondering what it could be? shocks, springs, something else? also, once i go about replacing, what would be the best way to go for a nice ride plus offer a bit stiffer and better handling? im not looking to spend a fortune here and im not looking into a race setup or hard driving but something i can take corners in and out of without the feeling of breaking loose. ..im not sure if any or all of this made sense..but try and make what you can out of it and try to help me out. thanks in advance.

coilovers will ride the best. to not spend alot of money i'd go with the ground control's, i hear they are the best. For struts i have tokico HP's they are pretty good for handling. You may want to step up to the illumina adjustables though. For ground controls and the illuminas you should be looking in the 800 dollar range. The better the handling the worse the ride, its just kinda a sacrifice.
