Ok, Im sure Im gonna get flamed for this but Ive never run into this problem, with all the cars Ive owned. My car shook pretty hard when I went above 60 mph. Well while checking my brake rotors and such I noticed about a 1in by 1in lump in the sidewall of my driver side front tire. The lump is not squishy, its actually firmer than the rest of the tire and it sticks out a little less than a half inch. So replace it right?
Here the lies the problem.
My first race of the season is tomorrow, the first run since Ive got the talon running, and all the tire stores are closed. My car is getting trailered to the races, so this is what I did, I put the tire on the back figuring there wont be as much weight on it and if it blows Ill still be able to control the car. Do you think Ill have major problems with this, and yes I know its not smart but Ive been waiting for tomorrow since I bought the talon in November.
Opinions please?
