I bought some 17X7 Konig Verdicts:

I found 2 good deals on ebay, which should I go with?

205/40/17 Nankangs for 190.00
235/40/17 Pirelli P7000SS for 280.00

Budget minded but want whats best for a 300whp front wheel drive car. What is the difference between 205 and 235?

Thanks guys, Im not a tire guru.

:dsm:

235s are 30mm wider than the 205s=better grip.

I don't know about about either of those models so I can't help you there.

The aspect ratio on both of those is wrong for your car. Your speedo will be off several MPH.

I used some little correction chart and with the 205's it will be slower.
Stock tire size reading 60mph will read 58mph with the 205s and 63mph with the 235s.

Also: My car is lowered 2.5" will I have clearance issues with either?
