Coilovers?? 2G fit 1G

Just a quick question, Will a 2G's coilovers fit a 1G. I know the cheapest way to lower a car is to get springs. But there are alot of coilover sets on Ebay and they all are for 2G's and i was just wondering if they would fit my 1G?? Thanks for your help in advance
