Suspenion overhaul

My 2g is in need of a suspension overhaul, most of the ball joints are bad so pretty much everything is getting changed. I wanna know before I go out buying new OEM, if there are aftermarket or different alternatives to some parts I don't know about. Here's what I'm looking to replace:

Front
-Upper control arm/ball joint, can I just replace just the ball joint? Any aftermarket alternative?
-Lower control arm
-Lower lateral arm

Rear
-both lower arms
-Sway bar end links

I was also thinking about buying the prothane full bushing kit while I'm at it and using it all minus the bushings for the lower control arm to the front struts.

I think I read someplace where a 3g rear sway bar will bolt up? Is this true and will an aftermarket 3g bar work?

If I recall correctly, a 3g bar won't bolt up due to the exhaust being in the way. This holds true if you pull up a picture of an aftermarket swaybar, they have a hump. If you're doing an overhaul you might as well do the prothanes. Its easier to do it with the knuckles and arms apart. While you're at it, might as well do the subframe bushings. As for balljoints, moogs is a good brand. Anything else I'd take with a grain of salt. Borrow balljoint tools from AutoZone. Its a 2 hour job if everything goes smoothly.
