So about a month ago I realized my front brakes were shot. Over $200 in and new rotors, calipers, and pads the car seemed fine.

As soon as I drove it though I could hear like a rubbing sound. I thought the car just had to get used to the new pads. Well this is obviously not the case. Just recently I paid attention for the sound. It happens pretty much whenever I move.

If I back out of my garage it is pretty audible. When close to make a complete stop it is quite audible as well. So it seems at low speeds it really happens, and while moving fast enough it is just noticeable.

The only possibility I can think it is, would be the dust shield. But at the same time I realize they have holes in them to perfectly line up on the knuckle. I do not know where to look otherwise.

It is just really getting old to have such an ugly sound coming from my car; it makes it seem more like a POS than it already is.

Any help/ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

1 of 3 things could be the cause, but it would help to know: does it sound like metal on metal? If so, the brake clips could be catching the rotor, another possibility is that you have metalic pads(sometimes they can be noisy), and lastly, your dust shield could be bent, or have debris between it and the rotor.
I can rule out a built up rust ridge on the rotor since you have new rotors. My money is on the brake pad clips contacting the rotors, I would take it back to wherever you had it done, or if you did it yourself take it apart and look for any of the above. But if you take it back to a shop, and its not the pad clips(ie. not the technicians fault) they will most likely charge you, just fyi.
Hope this helps.

I did/do everything myself. That is why I am kind of confused. Everything was assembled correctly. As far as I could see. I'm just lazy as of late; so I don't feel like pulling it all apart. I'll end up looking into it though. Maybe I'll try and get a video of the noise.

Jack the car up and spin the wheel. Does it spin freely and do you hear the noise then?

I will have to find some time tomorrow to try this.

could also be a stuck caliper causing the pads to stay on the rotor. while you have the wheels off rebleed the brakes again.

Feelin' kinda' lazy after today;

Pull everything except the rotor and turn it over and see if you can still hear it.

Dust shields can get bent super easy. As well as a rock get caught between the caliper and rotor.
