Hey what's up guys, today I went to the junkyard to waste some time and for the first time there is a turbo DSM, 2G talon Tsi. Well I took a look around and noticed it had some aftermarket coilcovers on it (Weapon-R, with OEM struts). Took them off and bought them with a 30 day warranty. Came home and before I put them on, searched around to see what people thought about them. Everything I read are bad reviews, so I really don't want to put them on, before I go back and return them, I want to see if any of you guys have had any good/bad experiences with them?

Weapon-R is a garbage eBay company. Use at your own risk.

They are coilovers not coilcovers.

Yea that's what I figured when I started reading on it. I was thinking of trying them, It only takes about 30 min to install but it's probably just a waste of time. Good thing I payed for warranty on them LOL.:D

I would never recommend anyone buy used coilovers or springs/shocks from anyone unless you saw how the car was treated. Buying from a junk yard is even worse, you have no clue how the car was treated, if it was in a wreck or how old the kit is. The fact that it has lowering springs on stock shocks should be your first warning not to use them. Take them back.

Should've taken the sideskirts/door caps instead of the coilovers.
