ok i have a 1g AWD, and i just did an exhaust.. now when i am going slow and punch it.. my front tires peel out all over the place and my rears are planted to the ground well and dont spin at all. So my question is this.. can i run a wider tire size in front? i was thinking of runnin 225/55/16 in front, and 215/55/16 in the rear... is this ok to do?

As Vegas Smith said, that should not be an easy thing to do on an AWD. First thoughts that come to mind is you may have uneven tires wear that causes the front wheels to engage due to the diff, or they may be something with the diff itself.

I would check out the tires for even wear, and if they are even possibly check into the health of the diff/transfercase, etc.

I hope others chime in can either agree or disagree with my statement.

Good Luck,

I agree, something almost has to be wrong in order for the fronts to peel like that. Your rear diff might not be functioning properly.
