My suspension has about 170,000 miles on it and I figured its time to update it. I was looking at Eibach prokit 1" drop. I'm not sure what shocks would be best. Someone said that KYB AGX would be the best. Is this true? Also I'm looking to get a set or 17 RacingHart rims. I use the car everyday in the summer and take it to the track sometimes.

Anyone else out there with w a 1g that could help me out.

If you jus want to "update" you set up...and not really look to drop it much..then yea go wit the Pro kit... but i have seen people that go wit a lil drop and then regret it and wish they coulda gone a lil bit lower... Go with the KYB AGX's, I had those shocks in my other car and i had no compliants,.. i say AGX's if you go wit the pro kit or decide to go on Coil Overs..

I've got a FWD 1G, and have had the AGX's on for about a year now with no complaints. It's definitely a worthwhile purchase. I also have 17" wheels, but with the Eibach Sportlines (lowered 1.8"). The car doesn't look too low to me, it sits just right, but sometimes the ride can feel a bit rough. Goodluck with whatever you decide on!:)
