i was wondering how much i can expect to pay to get both shocks and springs installed on my 95 awd talon?? i want to make sure i won't get ripped off.. thanks

depends on where you go, my friends shop told me 75 for installation. i dont think shock would make a difference because you need to take it apart anyway. all you would have to do is just put the spring on the new shock and reinstall the shock spring assembly

Man you could save a lot of money doing it yourself. the you would feel better about accomplishing a job. Doing it yourself would take no longer than half a day. You can rent the compressor from autozone or whatever an do it. Real easy job.

Don't pay , do it yourself.. my .02

if it is as low as 75 dollars then i will have a shop do it. how much does it cost to rent a spring compressor??

I went to about 15 different places and wasnt quoted at much less than 250 bucks. Many places will not install both springs & shocks. Don't forget an alignment...$50-75
Possibly need a camber kit...$5-200

It's not cheap...so I suggest getting a spring compressor, a few friends, some beer, and a couple hours and tackling it yourself like eclipse4x4 said. Its worth it.

Spring compressor? What is that? Just shoot the spring into a ice chest (so you don't lose parts) and when you put it on you just need a couple guys to press the spring down to get the nut started. But a spring compressor does come in handy, I now own one and like the fact that I don't get wounded everytime I shhot a spring off. But I agree with 4x4, do it yourself. Everything is easy to figure out, just tear into it and remeber where everything goes.
