Coilovers or springs

Sorry if this has been discuss before (im sure it has) but i suck at searching.

I was wondering what the difference was between Coilovers and springs were? The one’s in questions are Eibach pro-kit or Ground control coilovers. Do the coilovers handle better then the spring? I guess my question is why are Coilovers better?

Pro's to coilovers
1) Adjustable ride height
2) Coilover springs are linear
3) You can tune the spring rates of the car.

Cons to springs
1) You are stuck at 1 height.
2) You are stuck at 1 spring rate
3) They usually are progressive and hence change as they compress. Not ideal for any sort of performance driving.

Thanks for the help guy's. So there is no con's to the Coilovers? Tevenor how do you like the Ground controls? One more question, what type of spring rate should I get? I will be using them mostly for street and little autox with tokico adjustable
