I have a fairly good idea about the Nittos since they're on my car. New tires are a track day or two away, and I'm eyeing the Toyos. Actual feedback here on the R888 would be great, but they're still pretty new, so there's not much out there. I'll be going to 235/40-17 to get a slightly smaller width and O.D. As for what I'm looking for, I want it all. Grip and longevity. (
) I'm pleased with how long the Nittos last. Really, I know I'd be dissapointed if my next tire was a step down in grip in trade for longer life, so I need at least the same level of performance (if not a wee bit more) and roughly the same life span. Open to other suggestions of course.
Both rate the same: Treadwear 100.
Life's short, turn hard.
