Seibon Seats?

Ok well we all know good seats that hold you in well reduce you flopping around and let you concentrate on steering the car. Thats mostly why I put this thread here.

But I have also been trying to reduce the weight of my car without making all that noticeable (gutting interior etc.)

And knowing that some of these carbon fiber & carbon kevlar as well as alumenum frame seats weigh next to nothing by comparison these are very appealing at there price. And I am just wondering if anyone has seen these in person, has them, has sat in them etc.

what do they go for? I know sparco and momo both make fiberglass and carbon Frame seats as well. And generally the fiberglass are just about as light and 1/3 of the price usually.

im not sure how the seibon seats are, but if you want some affordable and super lightweight racing seats, check out what kirkey makes

How much are the seibon seats? NRG also makes carbon seats as well, for under $1000/pair. Personally, I would say just go with some fiberglass seats, because like 1512 said, carbon fiber seats are usually a lot more money for a minimal weight gain over the fiberglass seats. Or you could get the Kirkley aluminum seats, cheap and lightweight, but wont be as comfortable.

I would check these out. I plan on getting these for my car. They look good, weigh 12 pounds each, and are $500 shipped for the pair.

No offense guys but I am asking about the Seibon seats here. I don't much care about the look of solid metal seats. I know it's a more true race desighn but this is a car I am building for the street so.. Looks/comfort/function all come into play.
