Best way to lower.???

Sup all, i just got a 95 gs-t, now im gona be getting a blitz body kit, 18"s and want to lower it.
but i am a cheap mofo and want to know what the best (cheapest) way to do it, but i dont want to screw everything up. Im just looking for like a 1.5 -2.0 inch drop. can i just get coilovers? or just springs? how low can it be w/o a camber kit? help!

Best and cheapest are two completely different areas!

For 1.5 to 2.0 inches of drop, I think the only way to go is a coilover kit. Using springs and struts (even good aftermarket ones, like Koni) will result in damaged struts, because all the lowering allows the strut to bottom out, internally. Plus you have to slow down for everything (like paint stripes).

With that amount of drop, geometry will change too - you will need camber kits, no doubt. Anything more that about 3/4 inch drop miight need a camber kit, unless you get lucky.
