After sitting for over a year, the e-brake on my 91 GSX would not release and the brake light is illuminated on the dash. A friend who has been doing some other work got it to release messing underneath the car and we were able to take it to 50mph or more without any grinding.
I made the mistake of pulling it out of the garage and instinctively pulling the e-brake. He is no longer around to fix my mess, so can someone explain to me what I need to do to get it to release. It seems he was messing with something near the Passenger side rear tire. Any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
