ok so i did my clutch assymbly welding thing and everythings good until these past 2 days. i have abs, but its not hooked up. when i did my clutch welding, i had to unbolt the brake booster from the firewall, and wedge something between it and the firewall so the studs were far enough away from the clutch assymbly so i could remove it. anways heres what happens
brake - steering wheel pulls left, car pulls right, pedal goes 1/2 down
brake - pedal wont move, car will not stop
brake - feels fine, nothing wrong
this all happens at anytime when im braking right now. here are some things ive tried and maybe you can help determine the problem
brake - steering wheel pulls left, car pulls right - keep pumping and it goes normal
brake - pedal wont move, car wont stop - downshift to get vaccuum, braking is normal
ive spoken with some people about it, and they are thinking posible a proportioning valve on the brake booster. im assuming this has everything to do with the vaccuum, but i have no idea. also i priced a brake booster at olstens for 50 bucks but the guy was asking if its single diaphragm or t-something. i have no idea. 91 tsi awd
