Wheel questions

I am going to order my wheel tommorrow, they are gonna be 18" Ace Mantas. Well I know that I am going to have to lower my car somewhat, but how do I need to go about doing so? Do I need coilovers, springs or what? What brands do you all recommend for each. I am kinda new to dsm's but I am really new to the suspension parts. Just tell me what setup I should go with and where I should look for them.

There is a forum of what set up people are running not to long ago. I am running Neuspeed spring dropped 1.3" with tokico illuminas. Camber kits in front and back.

It all depends on what you plan to do with your car.

I will tell you this, if you lower your car, GET a camber kit WITH it.

Also, the stock shocks WILL NOT last. plan on getting them also. Don't make the mistakes I did. Get everything at once and do it at ONE time. I have had tire wear problems for the last year and a half. I got the springs, wore out tires... got the front camber kit....wore out the backs.... got the back camber kit then all the tires started wearing funny cause the stock shocks gave out on lowered springs. I finally solved everythign when I got the illuminas. with the stock shocks it looked good on the alignment machine until I started to drive and since the shocks were totally blown in the front, it sagged.

Take my advice for what it's worth.

Thanx for the reply 4x4, I ordered my eibach springs and rear camber kit from RRE. But now I have one more question for you, where did you find your wheels at and do you know of a place that happens to have them cheap? I was going to get the ace mantas but the company I was gonna order them from apparently doesn't answer the phone or emails! It was tiresonline.us they were really cheap--best I have ever seen, but they just changed their website and now I can't get in touch with them after just talking to them!
