Ok so i replaced tie rods, cvs, shocks, sway bar bushings are all solid, wheels all balanced, and everything. But still get a "thud"under feet and shaky steering. My car tends to float to.Had a shop check it out they say everything is fine so wtf! What else is there.i know my springs are sagging. The car is lopsidded.what else can i check?

Have you inspected your ball joints?? My car was doing the same thing. Thats what drove me to replace everything. I just pulled the subframe off last night and am pressing out the old bushings and replacing them with prothane bushings. I have to wait till the new steering rack is delivered before I start reassembly. I am very anxious to see how the car handles with the new components.

The shop said there fine but thats the only thing i havent replaced myself. You can get urethane bushings for ball joints?cool.I want my car on rails when im done.just so tired of this crap! Also iv looked into new ball joints and napa seams to have the best ones.

I went ahead and replaced the whole control arm. The rear mount was severely rusted and did't look too safe. I ordered the control arms from Mitsubishi for 180 each and they came with new ball joints already pressed in them which I was going to replace anyways.

Ok thanks guys, but i think i found my problem.I was rechecking everything and noticed my control arms were pushed forward out of there bushings! So im gunna order a urethane kit and see what happens.Ill keep u guys posted.

i would avoid whatever shop told you it was good. that kind of thing should be easy to spot.

It would be a good idea to replace the ball joints while you have the control arms off. If your doing all that it would be worth your effort.

Yea probly will. And say what are all the problems caused bu bad control arm bushings? What all will my car do?thanks!and if i buy control arms w balljoints from satan, there wont be any pressing out bushings will there?

Hmmm, my car rides the same way. I am not lowered but I do have the KYB AGXs on the car. The shop has checked the car about 3 different times and says the suspension looks great. Still though, the front seems to have a knock and rides rougher than I thought it should.
