well crap i was driving on the freeway and my balljoint broke in half an dropped my driver front suspension to the ground dragging on croncrete, then dirt, then rocks, then bushes.....at least i missed the pole....oh and im lookin at a new Axle aswell

ok to the point i took my wheel off and my strut site back at a angle theres a upper balljoint thats ripped out of a a-arm.....i will try and get pics if that would help determine what i need......i am also wondering if anyone has 2g awd suspension parts.....

Because you, of course, had the ball-joint recall done, you should take the car back to the place that did it and tell them to fix your car.

ok i just looked through all my records i recieved with the car and found.....it had replaced l/f balljoint lower, l lower strut mt., replaced on 9/9/04 except under the items on the bill it says used parts no warranty.... the car came in disassembled supposedly and the parts were in the trunk....

Step One is to go to a dealer and have them check whether the recall was done. (This is a 2G that we're talking about, right?) Every that follows depends on this.

Lesson for everyone: the very first thing that you do when you acquire a car is to find out about any recalls and whether the work has been done.

it is a 2g. 95 TSi AWD.....

if it hasnt then will it be replaced and fixed?

Don't bump. Just go find out if the recall was done. If it was, then take it back to the place that did it. If it wasn't, count your blessings you weren't killed and pony up.
