Alright I just installed my slotted dimpled rotors and PBR metal master pads the other day and I noticed this distinct line on the face of the rotor on the drivers side. I also noticed that when I would brake, there would be a noticeable kind of metal to metal noise. I've only driven on them for about 100 miles, so I figured maybe they just need to be broken in still.
Anyways today I decided to remove the drivers side wheel and caliper to inspect, the only thing that I could think of that might be causing the noise was the anti-rattle clips. I checked to make sure the clearance was good and put everything back together, went for a drive and still the noise is there. Other than the noise, everything else seems fine...smooth braking, no vibration or anything.
Anyone have any ideas what it might be? I hope it's just the fact that they are still new pads.
