Hey... well I want to lower my 99 eclipse GS A little, 1.5ish would be good... this is mainly for looks, but for handling as well

I've been browsing through the forums, and prior to doing this i thought all i'd need was lowering springs, but then i've run across camber kits, coilovers, shocks, etc...

could someone tell me what it is I'd need for optimal handling, and lowering capabilities and keeping it decently priced?

it all depends on the drop kit. if you do just springs and your camber looks to negative you will need a camber kit. its hard to say if you will need a camber kit but 9 times out of ten you will in order to keep the tires level. my buddy dropped his and never got around to a camber kit and his tires wore at an aggressive angle it was like half the tread was on the ground

drop springs and a camber will be fine and will cause normal tire wear after an alignment

since these cars don't have adjustable front camber you will most likely need a drop kit in the front especially if you are just doing it for looks. but for racing negative camber all the way makes a big difference
