OK I've searched for a while about how much of a necessity a camber kit is when lowering a car. I am about to drop mine 1.75". I think I found that the camber will not be very far off and will be fixable with just an alignment as long as it is less than a 2" drop. Is this correct? Also, the rear tires are effected more than the front so if i just did the 15$ mod would that be ok and just leave the front alone? I know i could put the springs on, get an alignment to see if i need a kit, and then put that on and get another alignment but i would rather not pay for 2 alignments. TIA :dsm:

Just do the $15 trick to the rear but use GM alignment shims...

In the front ingore the camber change with that amount of drop.. It actually is a change for the good and not enough negative camber to be bad on the street...

Make sure that you get it on an alignment rack and set the toe properly...

Ok dumb question, have done extensive searching and learning about toe caster and camber in the past hour. I didn't know what any of those meant till just now. Im very new to suspension stuff to be honest so if you can bare with me. Im buying a 2G talon that has 1.3" drop. Guys said it needs a front camber kit. Im gonna buy one just for the hell of it i guess, and do the $15 rear one. This is the dumb question, i just need to install it and take it to get aligned and they adjust the toe and camber right? heh sry. Also..... can you tell em how you would like it adjusted? Sry for a dumb question.

A 2G with a 1.3" drop does not need a front camber kit unless it is FWD and pretty much dedicated to drag-racing.
