18" wheel off set

Right now im running 18" with a 42 off set with 235x40 tires..do u think you can run 245 18 with 38 off set and not have problems...also i have 2" drop any help would be great thanks

My calculation says you would need:

44 mm max offset for 245/35/18
32 mm max offset for 245/40/18

I'm still looking for more reference points. If you try them let me know how the fit.

I had 245/35/18 tires with a +35mm. There was enough room to put 255/35/18 tires on there, which leads me to believe that you would be able to get away with a +38mm offset. This is on a 99 GSX though, and while your front suspension is identical I don't know about the rear knuckle.
