KYB Coilover Wrench

Alright...I bought my '97 GST a couple months back and it has the KYB Coilovers on it. The guy before me used it only for Sunday rides around the town so I guess he decided to lower it all the way down on the coilovers. Now, I arrive in good 'ol SD where the roads are very rigid and dippy so my front bumper is a goner. I ordered a new one from my buds shop and I realized it isn't going to serve much function without adjusting the coilovers up. The problem is the owner lost the coilover wrenches that come with them so I can't adjust them. I was just wondering if there was anything I could use in place of the wrenches to adjust the coilovers? Or if I could buy a coilover wrench from somewhere/someone? I need help.

Another thing is that my car also came with custom rims or something that he says. Anyways, the lugs have a special key that the previous owner also previously lost. I need to get the wheels off ### I am selling them and bought some nice painted GSX wheels. Is there something I can use to strip the lugs off or anything?

Thanks for all your help in advance.

Call KYB and ask for a set of keys. They can't be that much. You might be able to buy a universal one from a speed shop.

Any good tire shop will be able to take the lug off for you. BUT just so you know, the lug will not be able to be used again. You will have to buy 4 new lugs.

You can try to take it off yourself though. First tighten the 4 normal lugs more than you usually would. This will take some of the stress off the security lug. Now, find a deep socket that won't quite fit on the lug and then pound it on with a hammer. You do have the chance of breaking the socket, but that is why I buy craftsman tools.

If the previous owner still has the ID card for the lugs you can call up the manf. and have them send you a new socket. Chances are if he lost the keys AND the security socket, this last option won't work.
