Today my battery was completely dead, would not even turn lights on in the car. I jump started it, and it ran fine. Later on after I got off work, I had to jump it again, but this time I turned the lights on and it killed the car. I pulled the battery out, put in a brand new battery and the car started up, but now it gets to 1500 - 2000 rpm range and taps like it isn't getting fuel. If someone could please point me in a direction to start I would really appreciate it. And I have a 95 GST.

Battery was dead because it was not getting properly charged from the alternator or your battery is older than 5 years old and it will not hold a charge anymore. Check the alternator for 13.7 to 14.3 volts with the lights and accessories OFF. If alternator is not within voltage specifications above mentioned then replace the alternator. If the voltage is within specs then suspect a bad battery that is internally shorted and will not hold a 12.6 volt charge overnight; in any event replace the battery with something other than a WalMaRT purchased battery. Instead choose Interstate Batteries or an equivalent that is of an equal or greater substitute.
