hi guys

i am having few problems with tunning i have 750cc rc injectors walbro255 rewired ,base pressure set at 43.5 with vacuum line removed
i am runnng sd setup .
my probem is when i go WOT the afr on my aem wideband show lean 12.7 sometimes 13.
i have tried everything i did cruise log added tht .say you have to calibrate SD before .and then i will get my afr right.

one more problem i have a very high deadtime ,plus if you see my voltage it tends to drop at wot i am not going full WOT coz i am scared of the lean afr m scared tht i dun mess things up please sugest me

the vacuum line of afpr is ofc connected .
to calan dude i have read your threads alott you have been quite helpfull my case is different .today i changed my o2 BOSCH wideband sensor to a new one thinking that it might be faulty but nope as soon as i boost to 7 to 8 psi my afr from 11.8,11.6 to direct 12.XX
my DA table of openloopmaxoct is mostly set at 11.1 so basically i am not able to take it to RED line i stop at 5500rpm or 5000 cause of lean afr my wally 255 is rewired

to calan dude i have tried almost everything please help me sort this out i am running a fphta3586 and since 1.5 years i was buildingthis project now i wana feel the power help me

this is my log afr at WOT is too lean ,,plus the other day i turned my fuel pump on by ecmlink and my pressure regulator was showing me the base pressure but when i switched it of the base pressure just went zer0 0 ,shouldnt it suppose to hold pressure

My fuel sliders is up coz of tht lean afr i was getting i jus increased it to see if i get 11.1 but i couldnt plus my injector deadtime is very high i have to set at 675 dt to get combft 0 +- 5
and my airflowperrev is at .25 at dle

i did a cloosed loop cruise and adjusted my ve combft as said besides that i dunno what calibration you r talking about .pls it not normal to have such high deadtime on rc 750 ,

m fpr doesnot hold pressure aftr turning offthe car the psi jus drops rapidly when switch the car off

This is because your VE table is not calibrated properly, as Calan has mentioned. VE Adjust only works for closed loop (idle, cruise), not WOT. You should reset the sliders, log wideband, and use the VE table to get afratioest and your wideband to match (or just get wbfactor to 0%). Of course this is assuming that everything checks out on this list:

There are a couple of things that I think should be pointed out. You have your wideband wired to the frontO2 pin, but you're not using narrowband simulation. The ecmlink wiki explicitly states that this input is "only useable with narrowband simulation" so I think it would be a good idea to set that up (or use an alternate input).
http://ecmlink.com/wiki/v3narrowbandsim?s=narrowband sim

Also, in DA, your loadscale has been modified. I'm not sure if you're running a 2.1, but this should be 100% if you're still a 2.0 (your VE table suggests 2.0)...

This may also be affecting your lean condition. Check this thread out:

ok guys thanks for the input this is what i found in the tank the feed hose had a cut . but you guys are right my VE is not calibrated today i increased my ve at idle and i got back my combft to 0 +-5 now my DT is 330 . but i cannot align my aerflowperrev i have a fpgt3586 hta its at so i dunno how to tune sd at all . my wide band is not connected to front O2 its independent ,today i ran 11.9 to 12 afr at the log which is below i am getting there slow need help

here is the log

The sensor might not be in the frontO2 location, but it is wired into the frontO2 pin on the ecu. Right now, all your front o2 sensor is doing is plugging the hole in the o2 housing...In other words, your ECU is not recieving a signal from your stock o2 sensor; it is reading from the wideband.

That said, if you want to dial in your idle properly, you are going to have to enable narrowband simulation or rewire the wideband to a different location. Because you are a 1g, the only alternative input is the EGR, but the AEM wb is not 100% compatible with this input and I'm not sure how well it would work.

So...narrowband sim is probably the best/easiest choice. However, it is further down in the exhaust system which will introduce a slight lag to the ECU. To compensate for this, you have to change how the ECU adjusts for short-term fuel trims. You can read about it at the bottom of this page:
v3narrowbandsim [ECMTuning - wiki]

Personally, I would get an Innovate wideband and wire it to EGR and run the stock o2 sensor, but that is totally up to you...
